Exhibitor: CLUSTER ANDALUCÍA LOGISTICS

Sector: Others

The Rectorate of the University of Córdoba (UCO) today hosted the signing of the agreement for the academic institution's membership in the Andalucía Logistics cluster, a grouping of, for now, 40 companies and public administrations that aims to make Córdoba the epicenter of European logistics, leveraging the influence of the Army Logistics Base. Representatives of the cluster itself, the central government, the Regional Government of Andalusia, and the Córdoba City Council (the Provincial Council is also a member) signed the agreement, along with the Rector of the UCO, Manuel Torralbo, in a collaboration that will provide the University with important key input, from innovation to research and knowledge transfer.

Andalucía Logistics is an innovation cluster established in November 2024 in Córdoba, bringing together over forty Andalusian companies from various sectors, including prominent knowledge agents such as the University of Córdoba and the Metalworking and Transport Technology Center (CETEMET).

Its objective is to enhance the competitiveness of the Andalusian logistics sector and establish it as a cornerstone of the region's economic development.

The challenge for Andalucía Logistics lies in driving the development and strengthening of associated companies and agents, promoting innovation, internationalization, and sectoral cooperation, and reinforcing logistics as a fundamental axis of economic activity, thereby fostering synergies with other sectors.
