GORE-TEX Professional Fabrics at FEINDEF 2025

The specialist for technical functional textiles is presenting numerous technological milestones for police, military and naval forces at this year's FEINDEF in Madrid at stand 8E01 - hall 8.

• Defense and police forces are often exposed to extreme operating conditions and flash fires. Protective clothing with PYRAD® by GORE-TEX LABS product technology offers reliable protection against heat, flames and flash fires. When exposed to heat and flames, the material forms a stable char that protects the wearer. Compared to traditional flame retardant textiles, clothing solutions with this technology are significantly lightweight. Combined with GORE-TEX product technology, it offers the durable waterproof, windproof and breathable protection for which GORE-TEX products are renowned. Protective clothing with this technology is among the most lightweight and compact on the market.
• For the first time the EXTRAGUARD Upper Technology for police boots and military combat boots combines the advantages of a robust upper material with those of lightweight and breathable textiles – and has paved the way for the manufacture of a totally new class of GORE-TEX combat boots which are robust, durably waterproof, breathable and flame retardant. Above all, they are not only lightweight – they even remain so even after long periods in extremely wet conditions and dry quickly. The first models from Gore’s footwear partners will soon be available on the market.
