Banco Santander and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce recognized TRESCA Engineering this Tuesday with the Second Prize for Sustainable SME of the Year at an event held in Madrid with the presence of His Majesty King Felipe VI.
TRESCA Engineering wanted to highlight the importance and value of this national recognition, which serves as a boost to the company's daily work in support of the decarbonization process of Spanish industry, as well as to the various innovation projects currently being carried out in the search for sustainable solutions for the needs of society as a whole.
The CEO of TRESCA Engineering, Francisco Carro de Lorenzo, expressed his satisfaction with this award and thanked the "trust shown by all those who felt that our business project deserved this distinction," and congratulated all the companies participating in this event. He emphasized that "we are a benchmark in the realistic deployment of energy technologies throughout Spain and are currently responsible for more than 100 projects related to hydrogen and its derived fuels throughout the country, which contributes to the decarbonization process of business activity and the manufacturing sector."
For Francisco Carro, this award represents a valuable contribution to "our serious and rigorous daily work, which has been a hallmark of our work since TRESCA was founded more than 20 years ago. We are a trusted ally for the industry at this time. This Second Prize serves to reaffirm our commitment to our project and to ensure that we are on the right path, working to create more sustainable development opportunities in today's demanding business environment."
He also emphasized that being one of the winners of these awards, for which more than 1,700 companies from across Spain were nominated, "represents the good work being done in provinces like León, where we have tremendous talent in competitive disciplines like engineering and where we are creating projects that serve to improve the world."
