ITE manufactures the tools for EPI’s final assembly line for the production of Removable Cargo Compartment Tanks for Airbus C295 aircraft EDGE has recently signed a contract with Airbus Defence and Space for the serial production of removable cargo compartment tanks (CCRT) for the next-generation tactical transport aircraft C295.
After successfully completing a prototyping phase, through its subsidiary EPI, EDGE will handle the serial production of these tanks, including assembly processes, integration of hundreds of manufactured parts, and exhaustive testing, which reinforces the aerospace manufacturing capabilities of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).It is precisely there, at the EPI manufacturing facilities located in the Tawazun Industrial Park (TIP) in Abu Dhabi, where the tools manufactured, in part, at the Móstoles facilities of INTEGRACIÓN TECNOLÓGICA EMPRESARIAL have been installed.
For Rafael Mena, Business Development & Program Manager at ITE, “this recent collaboration with EPI for the manufacturing of the tools for the assembly line of the CCRT for Airbus C295 is a strategic advancement that positions our company as a supplier to the manufacturing industry of the United Arab Emirates.”
