Fundación para el Conocimiento madri+d is an initiative of the Regional Government of Madrid created in 2002. Its main objectives are to contribute to making the quality of higher education, science, technology, and innovation key elements of the competitiveness and well-being of citizens.

In addition, Madri+d is firmly committed to internationalisation and entrepreneurship in the region. It is part of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN - Madrid), supporting numerous SMEs in Madrid to grow internationally and to apply for European Funds in the framework of Horizon Europe and the European Defence Fund.
