RFE was founded in 1972 as a representative in Spain of the radio company that is now part of L3Harris and in 1993 developed a SW system to send images over HF radios that has evolved to become the reference communications manager in the Army.

RFE markets under TACNET (TACtical NETwork) encrypted tactical communications solutions that meet the flexibility, robustness and security requirements of the armed forces. These solutions are:

1) GESCOM VCS. It is the solution of choice for the 8x8, CASTOR and VAC programs.

2) GESCOM-SIM is a communications simulator that provides a scenario for planning the communications of a tactical deployment.
